Storage & backups
Your local notebook belongs to this browser. Keep a separate backup of notes you want to preserve.
Export a backup
Open Settings → Data → Export. Keep the downloaded file outside this browser. It contains folders, threads, entries, drafts, Archive, Trash, and recovery copies.
Restore your notes
Choose Import in Data and select a ThreadPage backup. Review its contents before confirming. Importing as a copy keeps existing notes.
Before clearing browser data
Export first. Clearing this site’s data removes its local notebook. Signing in does not automatically upload your notes.
Private browsing
Private browsing and browser storage restrictions can prevent the notebook from opening. Open ThreadPage in a regular browser window to keep writing.
