Pick up a project where you left off.
A useful project note tells your future self what changed, what remains uncertain and where to begin. Here is a small routine you can use in ThreadPage.
Before you stop, leave the next step
Add one entry with three things: the latest decision, the question still open and the next action you can take. Keep the action specific enough to begin without planning the whole project again.
For example: “The draft is ready for review. We still need to choose the introduction. Next time, read both openings and send one version for feedback.” This is an example, not a note added to your workspace.
When you return, read the recent history
Open the project’s thread and read its latest entries. If a decision needs more context, search for the relevant word or follow an Entry Reference you previously inserted. References connect entries without creating a separate conversation.
Switch to Focus when you want to read one thread, or use Columns when the next step depends on another project.
Continue with a new entry
Write what you learned or decided, check the selected thread in the composer, then choose Add. A draft is still a draft until you add it to the history. Keeping updates as separate entries preserves the sequence of the work.
Keep the context recoverable
Export a backup from Settings → Workspace data, especially before clearing browser data or changing devices. Store the downloaded file somewhere outside this browser.
