How it works

- 2Share it where you already talk about your work. A tutorial, a setup guide, a newsletter, a pinned post.
- 3Get paid. We send your commission through Wise.
What you earn
You get 30% of what we receive from each payment (the price minus tax and Paddle’s fee) in the customer’s first 24 months, on any plan or storage size.

The range covers tax from 0% to 20%, and larger storage sizes pay more.
Payouts
Commission becomes ready 30 days after a payment, or 60 days for your first payout. By the 25th we send what became ready by the 15th, once it reaches $50 from at least two customers.
We pay through Wise and cover its fees, to an account in your or your company’s name. Individuals have 23% Ukrainian tax withheld, and every payout comes with a statement.
How we count
Someone counts when they open your link, create a new account and choose “Credit yourname” at sign-up, in the tab your link opened or within 30 days in a browser that allowed analytics. If they open two partners’ links, the later one counts.
A few rules
- Label every post that carries your link with “Ad” (or the word your language uses) before or right next to the link, and add a sentence such as “I get a commission if you subscribe through my link.” In a video, say it as well.
- Describe ThreadPage as it is and quote our prices exactly.
- Share it with people who follow you or asked for a recommendation. Keep the link off Reddit and Hacker News, out of GitHub issues and pull requests of projects you don’t own, and out of messages to people who didn’t ask.
- Don’t run ads on the name ThreadPage, post the link on coupon, cashback or free-trial sites, or use it to sign yourself up.
If a post breaks these, we ask you to fix it, and we don’t pay for sign-ups credited while it stayed unfixed. Spam, ads on our name and signing yourself up end the partnership. The full text is in the Partner Terms.
Questions
What can I see?
Partner program in Settings shows each person you’re credited for, as a numbered row with the week they signed up and whether they pay, plus visits, sign-ups, first payments, earnings and what becomes ready each day. You never see who they are.
Why might someone I sent not count?
Privacy law requires the choice at sign-up before we can record a referral, and we remember your link in someone’s browser only when they allow analytics. So someone who signs up on another device, comes back later in a new tab without having allowed analytics, or chooses not to credit you doesn’t count. Neither does anyone who already has a ThreadPage account.
Do you withhold tax?
From individuals, yes: Ukrainian income tax (18%) and military levy (5%), so an individual with $50 ready gets $38.50 sent. A certificate of tax residence can lower the income tax. Companies are paid in full, and so are entrepreneurs registered in Ukraine once we have their register extract. You handle tax on your earnings where you live.
Which currencies can I be paid in?
Partner program in Settings lists the currencies for your country. In Ukraine, we pay in hryvnias by bank transfer.
What if a customer gets a refund?
The commission on that payment comes off your balance, in proportion to the refund; a chargeback takes all of it.
Do the people I send get a discount?
No. Everyone pays the same price and gets the same free trial.
Can I get Pro for free to make something about ThreadPage?
If you’re making a video, a post or a guide, write to support@thread.page with a link to your channel and we can turn Pro on. Say in it that ThreadPage gave you Pro.
Who can join?
Anyone 18 or older with a ThreadPage account who takes part as a self-employed person or a company and lives in a country we can pay. The Partner Terms list the exceptions.
Can I send people to a specific page?
Yes. Partner program in Settings builds a link to any thread.page page, or add ?via=yourname to the address yourself.
Can I leave?
Any time, in Settings. You stop earning from the people you sent. What you’ve already earned is paid under the Partner Terms if it comes from at least two customers.
