Automations
Bring updates in from other apps, and send notes you @ to your workflows.
Add notes from another app
With Pro, open Automations in Settings → Connections and choose Connect an automation → Add notes from another app. Choose the thread it adds to and what the app sends, then paste the URL ThreadPage gives you into the app.
The URL is shown once. Anyone who has it can add notes to that thread, so keep it as you would a password. If it leaks or you lose it, choose Replace URL… and paste the new one into the app.
Endpoint URLs describes what the URL accepts, in English.
Send notes you @ to a URL
With Pro, choose Connect an automation → Send notes you @ to a URL, give it a name and paste your workflow’s URL, such as a webhook URL from n8n, Make or Zapier. Each note you send to its name with @ goes to that URL.
Send test sends a test to the URL, so you can check your workflow before you send it a note.
Script or API
Choose Connect an automation → Script or API for your own script, server or workflow. Enter a Name, choose what it can do and which threads and folders it can use, then choose Connect. Choose Copy token and keep it in a secret store: it is shown once.
The developer quickstart shows the first calls, in English.
A script receives the notes you @ it only after you turn on Receive requests in its details. Requests shows how your worker claims and answers them, in English.
Note updates
Note updates sends new and changed notes in the threads you choose to a URL, so a workflow can act on them. Changes the connection made itself are left out, so a workflow doesn’t answer its own notes.
A script can add its own note-update URLs through the API only after you turn on Let the script add note-update URLs through the API in its details. Receive webhooks shows how a workflow checks them, in English.
