Legal updates
New standard prices for Pro bought from now on: USD 7.99 every month or USD 79.99 every year, taxes included. The price tables of the Terms of Service and the Refund Policy now show them. This does not change the price of a subscription bought earlier; that price changes only as the section “Plans and prices” explains, with your explicit confirmation. Nothing needs to be accepted again.
Corrections for the release that brings shared places. The Privacy Policy now says exactly what happens to what someone under 18 added to places other people own, which keyed codes we keep with Community posts after an account is closed and why, what an owner learns when an address declined invitations, that everyone in a shared place sees its owner's name, that stored cloud content is encrypted at rest, and how long usage counts are kept. The Terms now say that participants keep what they added by copying it, what Can add notes allows, how we handle a reported intimate image in a shared place, that we forward Canadian copyright notices, and that you may install the ThreadPage skill in your assistants. Nothing needs to be accepted again.
Small corrections. In Community you can take back a vote while a post still takes votes, closing comments ends a discussion and is not a penalty, and we say how long moderation records are kept. A copy of the Terms and the Refund Policy now comes with your purchase confirmation instead of a separate email, and accepting the Terms is one line next to the button.
Adds Community, the public board for suggestions and problems: its rules, the permission you give for what you post publicly, and how we moderate and review decisions. The Privacy Policy explains what Community shows and keeps. Adds links to the pages for reporting content and for copyright complaints.
For existing customers from : Adds Community, the public board for suggestions and problems: its additional terms in the section “Community” (the rules for posts, comments and votes, the permission you give for what you post publicly, and how we moderate and review decisions), what the Privacy Policy says about Community, and links to the Report content and Copyright complaints pages. Reading Community needs no account; posting, commenting and voting need an account and acceptance of these Terms. Nothing else changes for features you already use.
Clearer terms for Pro: reminders before renewals, the key facts shown before you subscribe, a full refund within 14 days of an annual renewal and 7 days of a monthly one, cancelling and withdrawing in Account → Plan & billing with email confirmations, and what happens after a chargeback. We also set out the content we do not allow and how reports and reviews work, our role when you use ThreadPage for your business, how these Terms change from now on, and the terms for sharing a Thread or a Folder with other people. The Privacy Policy explains sharing, account emails and optional product news.
For existing customers from : We updated the terms for paid subscriptions: reminders before renewals, the key information shown before you subscribe, a full refund within 14 days of an annual renewal, cancelling and withdrawing in Account → Plan & billing with email confirmations, and what happens after a chargeback. We describe your legal guarantee, the limited reasons for which we may change ThreadPage and your right to leave, our liability to consumers, events outside our control and the courts consumers can use, with sections for consumers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We added the content we do not allow, how to report content and how we review reports; we may restrict access while we investigate suspected fraud or misuse and close an account after a serious or repeated breach, with a chance to export first. We added our commitments when we process personal data for your business and, for business customers only, clearer limits of liability, an indemnity and Ukrainian courts. ThreadPage can move to a new operator, such as a company we set up, with 30 days' notice and your right to leave with a refund. Feedback you send can be used by us freely. We also explain how these Terms change from now on: corrections and improvements take effect when published; limited changes for the reasons listed in section 16 take effect after 30 days' email notice, and you can object or leave; material changes still need your agreement; and optional features can have their own terms, which you accept when you first use them. We also add optional sharing of Threads and Folders with people by email or with anyone who has a link, the content we do not allow in shared places and how anyone can report content and ask us to review a decision. The additional terms for sharing, in the section “Shared places”, are part of this version, so accepting it covers them. Joining a place needs an account and the age of 18.
One free Pro trial per email address. If you, or another account with the same email address, already had a trial or paid for Pro, a new trial is not available; a closed account that had a trial counts for 12 months. The Privacy Policy explains the coded version of the address we keep for this check and your right to object.
The Privacy Policy adds a connection's recent activity: a content-free record, shown in each connection's details, of what its token or assistant read and changed and of your changes to that connection, kept up to 90 days after its latest activity (at most 1,000 of a connection's own records). The Terms of Service and the Refund Policy are unchanged (2026-10-12-r4). Existing acceptances remain valid.
Pro is offered monthly (USD 5.99) or annually (USD 59.99) at tax-inclusive standard prices. Adds a 14-day Pro trial without a payment method, 5 GB of image storage, a seven-day renewal refund offer, up to seven days of Pro after a failed renewal and a read-only cloud copy when Pro ends. Reserves a never-automatic, notified right to remove an over-limit cloud copy, which applies to an earlier acceptance only after a notified transition. The Privacy Policy adds a retention schedule and plan, trial and storage records. Existing acceptances remain valid.
