# Terms of Service Version: 2026-10-10-r2 Last updated: October 10, 2026 ## 1. Operator and scope ThreadPage is provided by **Nazarii Olehovych Leus, an individual entrepreneur registered in Ukraine**, trading as **ThreadPage**. **Ukrainian taxpayer identification number (RNOKPP):** 3591414557 **Registered business address:** 32 Shkilna Street, Apartment 7, Bershad, Haisynskyi District, Vinnytsia Region, 24400, Ukraine. **Contact:** [support@thread.page](mailto:support@thread.page) **Website:** [thread.page](https://thread.page) “We”, “us” and “our” mean this operator. “You” means the individual using ThreadPage or an organisation that individual is authorised to represent. These Terms govern access to our website, web application and associated services. Our [Privacy Policy](/privacy) explains personal-data processing; our [Refund Policy](/refunds) forms part of these Terms. Accepting these Terms does not give consent to optional analytics or unrelated marketing. For a purchase through Paddle, the Paddle entity identified at checkout or in your receipt is the authorised reseller and merchant of record. Its [Buyer Terms](https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms) govern your purchase from Paddle. We supply ThreadPage; Paddle handles the transaction. These Terms do not replace Paddle’s contract or reduce protections that applicable law makes mandatory. ## 2. Eligibility and accounts You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms. If acting for an organisation, you must have authority to do so. Where we ask you to accept these Terms, we identify the version and provide access to the full text before the acceptance action. Your affirmative action applies to that version, together with any document expressly incorporated into it. We keep a record of the version, the acceptance action and the time of acceptance. An account record does not mean that we have evidence you accepted an earlier version. Merely visiting a page, opening a policy, signing in or using a browser-only workspace is not recorded as your authenticated acceptance of new Terms. A paid subscription requires a separate purchase confirmation. Accepting these Terms does not authorise a new charge, optional analytics, access to additional Notes or wider permissions for an assistant. You can start using the local workspace without an account. Account-based features require accurate account information and a supported sign-in method. Protect your credentials and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. Do not share credentials to evade plan limits; use authorised connections for external clients instead. ## 3. The service ThreadPage is a private workspace for ongoing streams of thought and work. Threads contain chronological Notes and can be organised into Folders. Notes support the rich content currently offered in the application, including text, lists, tables, images and references. The service currently offered is the web application. Cloud storage, Sync and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections depend on the features enabled for your account. Available features, plan limits and billing terms must be disclosed before purchase. An external connection does not create an entitlement to unlimited requests or storage. Roadmaps and previews do not add features to a purchase. Native mobile applications, audio recording, transcription, an AI-model subscription and agent hosting or scheduling are not included unless expressly offered in the purchase description. A compatible browser and sufficient local storage are required. Network features require an internet connection and may depend on supported third-party interfaces. ## 4. Local storage, Sync and backups In local-only mode, your Notes, images and related workspace data remain in that browser’s storage; they are not automatically saved to a ThreadPage server. A local-save status is not evidence of a cloud copy. Browsers may restrict or remove stored data. Clearing site data, losing a device or using private browsing can make local work unavailable. Browsers, profiles and devices have separate local stores. Keep an independent export of important material, especially before clearing browser data. We cannot restore content that was never transmitted to us and is no longer on your device. Signing in does not mean that every existing browser Note has been uploaded. Eligible Sync uses the account and source-confirmation choices shown in the application. A confirmed Pro upgrade can start Sync automatically for an established same-owner source, while respecting an explicit Sync Off choice. Content of uncertain browser ownership requires confirmation before being assigned and uploaded. Turning Sync off stops future synchronisation from that browser; it does not erase existing server copies or revoke an assistant’s separate access. Sync may propagate edits and deletions and is not an independent backup. These explanations do not exclude responsibility for our own failure to meet applicable legal obligations. ## 5. Your content and connected assistants You retain the rights you hold in your content. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to process it as necessary to deliver ThreadPage, carry out your instructions, maintain authorised recovery copies and comply with law. This permission does not let us sell your Notes, publish them for our own purposes or train general-purpose AI models on private Note content. You must have the necessary rights and lawful basis to upload or disclose other people’s information. ThreadPage is not a password vault. Do not store payment-card credentials or use the service for specially regulated information without first establishing that the service and any required agreements meet your obligations. An MCP connection receives only the permissions and content scope you approve. These may allow reading, searching, creating, editing or organising content. Folder permissions may include future contents when the authorisation screen says so. Unpublished Drafts and private Recovery material are outside external-client access. A Note Reference does not grant access to an otherwise restricted target. Review permissions before connecting an assistant. You can narrow or revoke access in **Connections**. Revocation stops subsequent access through that connection, but cannot recall data already received by the external provider. External assistants have their own terms, charges, data practices and execution environments. ThreadPage does not promise to run them continuously or schedule their work. Review their changes before relying on them. We remain responsible for the access controls and other obligations we provide. ## 6. Plans and prices Our standard ThreadPage Pro subscription prices are: | Plan | Payment | Billing interval | |---|---:|---| | Pro Monthly | **USD 5.99** | Charged every month | | Pro 6-Month | **USD 29.99** | Charged every six months | | Pro Annual | **USD 59.99** | Charged every year | The six-month and annual plans are paid upfront for their full periods; they are not monthly instalments. Your selected plan, currency, applicable taxes, total charge and renewal terms are shown before you confirm payment. Where a local-currency price is offered, the amount expressly presented and accepted at checkout applies. Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected interval unless cancelled. Before an initial purchase, the checkout identifies the amount, interval and automatic-renewal arrangement you are authorising. Renewals under an unchanged arrangement do not require a new acceptance of the same Terms on every billing date. A different price, billing interval or paid feature package is a separate commercial change. We will give advance notice of proposed price changes, normally at least 30 days, and obtain any agreement required by law before applying them. We do not reprice a period you have already paid for or treat acceptance of general Terms as authorisation for an undisclosed charge. You may cancel renewal before a new price takes effect. Your purchase confirmation identifies the offer and applicable Refund Policy for that purchase. Paid access is activated after the payment and account entitlement are verified. A checkout success message alone does not prove activation. Contact support if you were charged but access has not appeared. Failed renewals may be retried by Paddle; paid features may pause if payment is not completed. No trial or grace period is included unless expressly offered. Plan limits may cover storage, file size, request volume or request rate. We do not impose automatic overage charges unless you separately agree to them. Additional paid usage requires a disclosed purchase or authorisation. Cancelling a subscription or reaching a limit does not, by itself, instruct your browser to erase Notes. ## 7. Cancellation and refunds Cancel renewal through **Manage subscription**, the management link in your Paddle receipt, or [Paddle support](https://paddle.net). Contact [support@thread.page](mailto:support@thread.page) if you need assistance. Cancel before the next renewal is processed to prevent that charge. Ordinary cancellation stops future renewals and leaves paid access in place until the end of the paid period. Closing a tab, signing out, disabling Sync or disconnecting an assistant does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation is different from requesting a refund. Our [Refund Policy](/refunds) includes an additional 14-day first-payment refund offer and explains other rights. A refund, reversal or lawful restriction can affect access associated with that payment. Your mandatory withdrawal, renewal and defective-service rights remain unaffected. ## 8. Acceptable use Do not use ThreadPage for unlawful content or activity, infringement of others’ rights, malware, unauthorised access, fraud, interference with the service or evasion of security and usage limits. We may apply proportionate technical rate limits to protect availability. An MCP request limit may stop an external client’s operations without preventing ordinary local writing. Lawful export of your own content is not prohibited. Plan restrictions do not authorise unrelated deletion of your content. Our software and branding remain ours or our licensors’. We grant permission to use the service for your personal or internal business purposes under these Terms. Separate open-source licences continue to govern material distributed under them. ## 9. Export, deletion and account closure Use the available export controls to keep a copy of your work. You can request account closure or personal-data erasure by contacting [support@thread.page](mailto:support@thread.page). We may reasonably verify ownership before acting. Trash is not necessarily permanent erasure. Versions, Recovery material, shared images and backups may have separate retention requirements explained in the Privacy Policy. We will handle valid erasure requests under applicable law, not use ordinary recovery settings to justify indefinite retention. Account deletion does not erase exports or information already supplied to an independent provider, and cannot guarantee immediate removal from an offline device. Review subscriptions and connections when closing an account; contact us to coordinate cancellation and erasure rather than assuming that one action completes both. Cancellation alone is not a promise of indefinite cloud retention. Before planned removal of retained content for subscription expiry or inactivity, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export where lawful and practicable. Any statutory right to retrieve your content without an additional charge remains available. ## 10. Service changes and suspension We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill and comply with applicable digital-service requirements. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every browser or recovery of every historical version. We may make changes for security, legal compliance, compatibility or operational improvements. This is not an unrestricted right to change a prepaid service. Changes beyond what is necessary to keep a digital service in conformity must satisfy the applicable legal conditions, including a valid contractual reason, no additional cost where required, and clear information. For a more than minor adverse change to a paid digital service, we will provide the advance information and rights required by applicable law, including information in a durable form where required. Where the law gives you a right to terminate because of that change, our notice will explain how and by when to exercise it. A policy update does not retrospectively remove rights attached to a purchase. We may restrict access proportionately for a material breach, credible security threat, fraud or legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow an opportunity to resolve it. Urgent threats or legal restrictions may prevent advance notice. You may request a review through support. If we discontinue a paid service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will arrange a refund of the unused prepaid portion through Paddle and, where possible, provide notice and an export opportunity. Any greater mandatory remedy is preserved. ## 11. Responsibility and liability Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any obligation, liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited. Consumers retain their statutory protections. We are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our breach, subject to applicable law. Storage and backup warnings do not remove rights arising from our own failure. For customers acting solely for business purposes, to the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability relating to the service is limited to the greater of USD 100 and the amounts paid for ThreadPage in the preceding twelve months. This business-only limit does not restrict mandatory liabilities, refund obligations or liability that data-protection law does not permit us to limit. ## 12. Versions, updates and your choices We identify each published version by a version label and its publication and effective dates. You can access previous published versions through [Legal updates](/legal/updates). Your account’s **Legal** section identifies the version we have a record of you accepting. That record is separate from the current public version. We do not alter the text of an earlier published version in place. We may correct formatting, spelling or broken links, clarify wording without changing its effect, or make changes that are solely beneficial. These changes do not require you to accept the same contractual obligations again. We will record them in the version history and notify you separately when appropriate. For a material change to your contractual rights or obligations, we will explain the important changes, identify the proposed effective date and normally give existing customers at least 30 days’ advance notice. Where the law requires a longer period or a particular method of notification, that requirement applies. Important contractual notices will be made available in a form you can keep. A shorter notice may be necessary for a mandatory legal requirement or an urgent security measure; this does not permit a retrospective waiver of rights or an undisclosed price increase. Where renewed agreement is required, we will ask you to accept the identified version before applying it to the affected service. We do not treat silence, closing a notice, an assistant’s request or continued access to your saved Notes as that agreement. A change to this page alone does not expand an MCP permission or authorise processing that requires a separate consent. You can decline a proposed material change. We will explain whether the existing arrangement can continue, whether the change applies only to a future renewal, or whether the affected service must end lawfully. We will not use refusal alone to erase your saved content or prevent access to cancellation, a refund request, available export, privacy-rights requests or account closure. Existing prepaid rights and any required refund or retrieval remedy remain protected. ## 13. Applicable law and contact Ukrainian law governs these Terms with the ThreadPage operator. Consumers retain mandatory protections of the law otherwise applicable to them and access to courts available under mandatory jurisdiction rules. Paddle’s separate purchase contract has its own governing provisions. Send questions or complaints to [support@thread.page](mailto:support@thread.page). An informal complaint is not a prerequisite to exercising a legal right. An unenforceable provision does not invalidate the remaining lawful provisions. These Terms impose no mandatory arbitration or waiver of non-waivable rights. Any language rule that mandatory law requires takes precedence.
