Before

In August a storm put the neighbour’s oak through your roof. Since then you’ve explained it to three people at the insurer, booked two roofers and an engineer and taken ninety photos. The reference numbers are in your call history, the quotes in your inbox, the photos among the holiday ones. When you finally complain, the first thing they ask for is the sequence of events.

Why a thread, not your inbox and your camera roll

  1. Every call has a name and a reference

Adjusters change. The note from 18 August says who promised what, and when.

  2. One order for everything

The damage, the quotes and the adjuster’s emails sit in the sequence they happened, not in three apps.

  3. The timeline is already written

Copy as text copies the whole thread at once as plain text, ready for a complaint.

  4. Back on the promised day

Remind me… brings the claim back the day a decision was due, so a silence never lasts a month.

Also

With Pro, the insurer’s emails can file themselves as text through an email filter, as in Out of the chats, into the right thread.

Limits

  • Images only: photograph the letter or take a screenshot.
  • Copy as text copies the text, not the photos: attach those to the complaint yourself.
  • Notes can be edited, so the thread is your own record, not certified evidence: keep the original photos too.
