1:1. She wants to lead the search project, but presenting to the directors makes her nervous.
- To do: Me: ask Elena for a slot at the April review
- To do: Dana: a one-page plan
A private thread per person: 1:1s, wins, worries and what each of you promised. When reviews come, the year is already there.
See the threadSix reports, a 1:1 with each every other week. The notes live in a document per person that grows to forty pages, or in a notebook you can’t search. In November HR wants a review for each of them, and what you remember is the last month. Dana’s fix that support loved in March is gone.
Each 1:1 is a dated note under the last one, so the year reads in order, and Search finds “promotion” across the team.
Yours and theirs, ticked at the next 1:1. Set Remind me… for the morning you meet.
Your notes stay yours. A separate thread shared with the report at Can add notes is where you both add topics before you meet.
Monday 30 November, before three 1:1s: where you left each person.

A win, tagged, so Search finds it in November.

Presented the search plan. Clear, a little fast, and the directors said yes. #win
Concerns too, with the date you noticed and what you did.

1:1. Tired: on call twice this month because of the gap in the rota. Took her off the June rota. #concern
