ThreadPage for iPhone 1.0
Updated October 20, 2026
This iPhone app
This notice describes the local-only ThreadPage iPhone app. It does not describe the separate ThreadPage website and web app.
ThreadPage is operated by Nazarii Olehovych Leus, an individual entrepreneur registered in Ukraine, trading as ThreadPage. You can contact us about privacy at support@thread.page.
Your notes stay in your workspace
Folders, Threads, Notes, drafts, recovery copies, image originals and workspace preferences are stored in the app's local files on your iPhone. Writing, editing and reading them does not send their content to ThreadPage servers.
This release has no account, automatic sync, advertising or third-party analytics and crash-reporting service. It does not ask for access to your contacts, location, camera or microphone. The document picker gives the app access to the files you select.
Local storage is not a separate backup. Apple may include app data in an iCloud or computer backup according to your device settings. ThreadPage does not operate or control those backups.
Imports, exports and other apps
When you import a backup or image, the app reads the file you choose and stores the supported content locally. A file provider you choose, such as iCloud Drive, may download that file under its own privacy terms.
Original images retain their original file contents, which can include metadata added by the device or app that created them.
Export complete backup includes supported workspace content, original images, drafts and recovery copies. Export recovery files can include the original local database and related files. Exports are not password-protected by ThreadPage; anyone who can access an exported file may be able to read its contents.
To save or share an export, choose a destination using the iPhone share sheet. The destination app or service then handles that copy under its own terms. Delete unwanted exports from those destinations separately.
Links and support
When you open a website or a link from a note, your browser and the destination receive the usual network request, including your IP address. ThreadPage does not attach your workspace to that request. A link can itself contain information you or its author placed in the address.
If you contact support, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send. Do not send a backup, note or screenshot unless you intend to share that content. Our Website Privacy Policy explains the handling and retention of support messages and requests about your personal information.
Apple diagnostics and TestFlight
Apple handles App Store, device backup and diagnostic information under its own privacy terms and settings. Apple may make diagnostic reports available to us.
For TestFlight beta builds, Apple shares crash and usage information with the developer. Feedback and screenshots you choose to submit may also be shared. This is separate from the local storage of your notes. Apple's TestFlight privacy notice explains the information it collects and shares.
We use reports and feedback Apple makes available to investigate problems, improve the app and respond to you. Copies we retain under our control follow the diagnostic-log and support-correspondence schedules in our Website Privacy Policy: diagnostic records are normally kept for up to 30 days, and routine support correspondence for up to 24 months after the enquiry closes, subject to the legal and security exceptions stated there. Unnecessary attachments are removed earlier. These periods do not control copies retained by Apple.
Keeping and removing content
Your workspace remains on this iPhone until you remove it. Archive and Trash retain content in the workspace. Permanent deletion removes the selected content from the app's current workspace; existing backups and exports can still contain copies.
Settings → Clear workspace removes this app's local workspace after your confirmation. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading the app can preserve it. Neither action removes copies you saved elsewhere or device backups controlled by Apple. Export a backup before deleting anything you want to keep.
Because this release does not upload your workspace to us, we cannot restore it from a ThreadPage cloud copy or delete copies on your behalf. You can read, edit, export and remove your local content in the app.
