# Out of the chats, into the right thread

Forward a Telegram message to your own bot, set up once in n8n or Make, and tap the thread it belongs to. Slack mentions and filtered emails file themselves.

## At a glance

- **For:** Anyone whose work runs through four messengers and an inbox.
- **You keep:** One thread per subject, such as Office move.
- **Comes in:**
  - Telegram messages you forward to your own bot, set up in n8n or Make, in the thread you tap.
  - Slack messages that mention your Slack app.
  - Emails that match a filter.
- **The moment:** On moving day the keys, the elevator and the movers’ quote are in one thread, in order, next to your own checklist.
- **Plan:** Pro · From USD 7.99 a month. 14 days free, no card.

## Before

The landlord writes on Telegram, the team plans in Slack, the movers send quotes by email and the building manager answers on WhatsApp. On moving day you need the message about the elevator, and you search four apps for it.

## Why a thread, not four chats and an inbox

### One subject, every channel

Messages land in order under the subject they belong to, wherever they were sent.

### Your notes next to them

The comparison table, the checklist and the photo of the hallway sit right under the message they answer.

### A thread can be Done

When the move is over, mark it Done and archive it. Search still finds the elevator booking next year.

## The moment

On your phone: forward it, tap the thread, done.

Example chat with your bot:

**Telegram bot**

Forwarded from the landlord: Keys from Friday after 14:00, office 4B.

## It files itself. You read.

Your tools write into the threads you choose, with only the access you give them.

### Forward from Telegram, tap the thread

Set up your own Telegram bot once, in n8n or Make. Then forward it any message: it answers with a button for each of your threads; tap one, and the message becomes a note there.

In Office move

#### Set it up

Automation Add only n8n or Make

1. Create a bot with **@BotFather** in Telegram and copy its token.
2. In **Settings → Connections → Automations**, choose **Connect an automation** → **Script or API** with **Add only** for the threads the bot may file into, and name it Telegram bot. It can add notes there and see those threads’ titles, nothing more.
3. In n8n or Make, start from a Telegram trigger. Answer each message with one button per thread from the token’s thread list; when a button is tapped, add the message to that thread through the Integration API.

### Mention your Slack app

Write a message in Slack that mentions your Slack app, and that message becomes a note.

#### Set it up

Automation Add notes from another app Slack messages

1. Create a Slack app, subscribe it to the `app_mention` event only, install it in your workspace and invite it to the channels you use.
2. In **Settings → Connections → Automations**, choose **Connect an automation** → **Add notes from another app**. Name it Slack, choose **Office move** and **Slack messages**, and add the app’s signing secret.
3. Paste the URL as the app’s Request URL in **Event Subscriptions**.

### Emails that match a filter

A filter in n8n or Make sends matching emails, such as quotes from the movers, to the thread.

#### Set it up

Automation Add notes from another app Text or Markdown

1. In **Settings → Connections → Automations**, choose **Connect an automation** → **Add notes from another app**. Name it Email filter, choose the thread and **Text or Markdown**, and copy its URL.
2. In n8n or Make, start from a Gmail or Outlook trigger and filter by sender or subject.
3. Add an HTTP request to the URL that sends `{"text": "…"}` with the sender, the subject and the first lines.

## Limits

- WhatsApp has no automation for personal chats: take a screenshot.
- An endpoint URL feeds one thread and carries text, not photos.

Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, n8n, Make, Gmail, and Outlook are the names of their owners. ThreadPage is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
